Success for Pupils in Fashion Competition
Congratulations go out to two teams chosen for the Grand Final of the recycled fashion competition Junk Kouture. The event takes place at the Clyde Auditorium, SECC on Thursday 9th February. The prestigious show will feature 80 chosen designs from schools all over Scotland and among the judges are Louis Walsh (X Factor) and Una Healy (The Saturdays). Over 350 outfits were submitted so it is a tremendous achievement for the two teams chosen.

S2 pupils Craig P, Ryan M and Sean C designed and made an outfit based on recycled computer components called Technically Technical and S1 pupils Melissa M, Lauren A and Mackenzie B designed a 60’s inspired ensemble using recycled fabrics and plastic bags. Called Bright Future.

To support the pupils, we would urge everyone to vote via the Junk Kouture Facebook page for our two winners. The online voting takes place from Monday 30th January to Friday 3rd February. Anyone wishing to purchase tickets to see the show can do so from Ticketmaster.
